Yuva Unstoppable’s Janta Mentorship in times of COVID-19
Amitabh Shah founded Yuva Unstoppable envisions empowering the youth. Since inception in 2005, we have made a difference in the lives of more than 6,00,000 children and youth from less privileged backgrounds. Amidst the outbreak of COVID-19, we launched the #JantaMentorship campaign to further advance our vision. The initiative brings together India’s top management in various sectors to virtually mentor our scholarship students. The topics range from staying positive and productive to learning some of the greatest lessons of life.
Parthiv Patel Becomes Our Janta Mentor
Parthiv Patel, former Indian cricketer recently joined our Janta Mentorship initiative to fight the pandemic. And he shared his life lessons and anecdotes with his mentees. One of the greatest tips that Parthiv shared with our young and ambitious students was: “Ups and downs are a part of life, you have to face them. Just keep the passion alive and have clarity about your goals. Enjoy, re-invent yourself, work hard, be patient, stay strong, don’t run after the results, and results will follow.” The mentees were grateful for the inspiring words that helped them see things in a better light and think about turning challenges into opportunities. Parthiv was delighted and thankful to Yuva Unstoppable for giving him a platform to impact the country’s youth.
More about Janta Mentorship Initiative
Originally inspired by Amitabh Shah’s wife Mrs. Rashmi Shah’s idea, the Janta Mentorship campaign was launched on the day our Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi announced a nationwide ‘Janta Curfew’ on 22nd March 2020 to curb the outbreak of Corona Virus. The campaign consists of a series of purposefully curated mentorship sessions moderated by Amitabh Shah and our Team. The mentees, often single-parent children or orphans, are beneficiaries of our Educational Scholarship Program that supports talented but poor and needful children to pursue their higher education through financial and moral support.
