Yuva Unstoppable’s COVID-19 Response
Amitabh Shah and Yuva Unstoppable are transforming the country’s education landscape. We are building better toilets, clean drinking water facilities, and digital classrooms in government schools. We are also awarding educational scholarships to students from less privileged backgrounds. Our motto is to make schools a better place to learn and make education accessible to all children. With this in mind, we launched the ‘Janta Mentorship’ session series just after the ‘Janta Curfew’ in India. The idea behind it is that ‘learning must never stop’, even in these times of COVID-19 and lockdown.
Dhiraj Relli Becomes a Janta Mentor
When Mr. Dhiraj Relli, MD & CEO, HDFC Securities joined us for Janta Mentorship. He shared with us and our students a super mantra for learning beyond books with our scholarship students. We are grateful to him for sharing his knowledge with these talented students who will chart the future of India. The series of sessions have been curated by our Founder and Chief Inspiration Officer, Amitabh Shah. The mentees are beneficiaries of our scholarship program.
About our Scholarship Program
We’ve created unique scholarships that support and empower deserving students to effectively complete their higher education. The scholarships ensure that the students get a good start to their careers and can begin to support similar causes in the immediate future.
We identify students who have scored more than 90 percentile in their SSC/10th grade examinations and whose annual family income is less than Rs. 3 Lakhs per annum. After thorough due diligence, these wards are awarded scholarships for up to Rs. 25,000 per year until the time they graduate. This is the first time a scholarship is designed to support the students not just financially, but also to motivate them, monitor, and mentor them, and ensure a sent-percent result every time.
