Amitabh Shah’s Yuva Unstoppable launched the unstoppable vaccination drive. This is to support and encourage the uptake of COVID-19 Vaccines by eligible people especially from disadvantaged communities and from remote villages and areas where immunization coverage is low. The vision is to strengthen the nation’s fight against the pandemic.
Amitabh Shah shared that due to lack of awareness about the benefits of vaccines it’s extremely challenging. People in remote villages are hesitant to get vaccinated. There are various myths related to vaccinations that also prevent them from getting themselves vaccinated. Somehow people have historic fear and distrust of public health initiatives.

The three-pronged approach supported by Yuva in the fight against the pandemic included: “Support( Ration supply to class-IV healthcare workers), “Life”( oxygen concentrators to hospitals), prevention” ( Raising awareness & accelerating vaccination)
Immediately after the outbreak of COVID-19 second wave, Amitabh Shah’s Yuva unstoppable rolled out Corona Sewa Yagna. The three-pronged approach supported by Yuva-unstoppable in the fight against the pandemic included: “Support” (Ration supply to Class-IV healthcare workers), “Life” (Oxygen Concentrators to hospitals), “Prevention” (Raising awareness & accelerating Vaccination).
In the 1st phase of the initiative, 1,00,000 nutrition and immunity booster kits were distributed to nurses, ambulance drivers, lab technicians, ward boys, peons, and other support staff. In the 2nd phase, 160 oxygen concentrators were given to hospitals, and 7 oxygen generation plants were donated to the State. To mark the successful execution of the initiative, the Corona Sewa Yagna Thanksgiving Ceremony was organized wherein Yuva Unstoppable set out on a mission to accelerate vaccination in the 3rd phase. Yuva unstoppable obtained data from District Collectors about villages with less than 50% vaccination coverage. As per directions of the Vaccination Officer, organize the distribution of vaccines and the gift of family essential 1L edible oil (for everyone who takes vaccine) at the vaccination camps Mobilize community members and grassroots healthcare workers to spread awareness about the benefits of vaccination encourages maximum participation.
A pilot program for vaccinating people in 10 villages of Ahmedabad district, Gujarat has been launched. Under the program, a vaccination camp in the remote Kodaliya village was organized. Before Yuva’s intervention, the vaccine coverage in the village was as low as 19% and within a week of starting the drive, 100% of the villagers have been vaccinated. Not only did it help prevent the spread of the pandemic, but also fulfilled the basic need for ration like edible oil to the people in need. Various district and block level officials like District Development Officer (DDO), Taluka Health Officer (THO), District Health Officer also participated. Yuva Unstoppable has secured permission to implement a similar model across the entire state. The government letter stated that Yuva’s intervention has led to 100% vaccinations in 3 villages during the pilot in less than 7 days.
